Manny Pacquiao grew up in General Santos City. His true name is Emmanuel Dapidran Pacquiao. Which is later on named Manny "the Pacman" Pacquiao. Born on December 17, 1978 in Kibawe, Bukidnon, Mindanao in the country of the Philippines.
Manny before his succes. Manny Pacquiao lives in small place in General Santos City. Did you know he sales bread before? Manny living in a small house had a living of selling bread in his home town before he got famous. Imagine what he is now, Manny Pacquiao never forgets to help his country because of what he had been through. He didn't even told her mother that his going to MANILA (capital city of the Philippines) just to try and save his family from hunger. He had a good heart and ambitions to move forward. When he got to MANILA, he met 7 other boxers which became his sparring mates and friends. They it 2 canned sardines 5 kilo rice and 10 packs of noodles for 8 boxers exhausted with the training which fortunately they still have left overs for tomorrow. Also, they got a good nearby small restaurant or like a canteen where they can eat and pay it after a fight or if they have a money to pay for what they've eat.

$23,000 for the biggest pounds loss? A contest of weight losing was held in the U.S. on Sunday at La Palazzo apartment by the man "Pacman" himself. Tim Sladeck won the 20 day weight loss challenge by Manny.He works some of Manny Pacquiao's endorsements deals in the United States.
Under the rules was to shed 15% of their body weight in 20 short days without using any weight drug reducer. This 41 year old guy(Tim Sladeck) got the crown for being the "biggest loser". Only Thirty-eight out of eighty-seven people got the 15% weight loss. The person who gets the weight takes home $3000. And the Biggest loser? He has an additional $20,000 dollar that takes away his zombie walk going back home. From 214 he dropped to 165 lb shedding 49 lb of its body weight.
“It was tough. For 20 days burned 3,000 calories a day and took in only 300 calories. I did five hours of cardio exercises a day. But I made sure I was healthy,” he said, holding on to a gallon of energy drink afterwards.Alex Ariza, a former winner, lost 33 lb as he headed to the elevator after getting his prize. Winchell Campos, the embedded writer for Team Pacquiao, also lost 33 lb but came nowhere close to Sladeck’s feat.
